Illustration - Fear/Phobia

It's pediophobia! That's the one I was assigned. Beyond that, it could be any medium, limited only by time (so no oils, basically).

I did a number of sketches, eventually inking onto vellum. Traced it onto watercolor paper and did a tonal study. Scanned them both into photoshop and colorized the tone. Added texture and desaturation effects. Ta-da.

The colorization of the watercolor really killed the complexity of the line art and really flattened everything out. I'm going to play around with some hue gradients there and, failing that, ink some more.
